These past few days some wonderful friends came to spend the entire weekend with me in my new place. We met in college and were all three sorority sisters. Of course this weekend of fun included some brownies (dairy free) and rented movies. Out of both of the movies we watched, I absolutely fell in love with the movie Safe Haven. While it can be classified as a romantic comedy it also dabbles in some psychological suspense and thrills.
With the girls here it made for some late nights, groggy mornings and quick breakfasts out the door for some new adventures. This morning they attended a new church in town with me to help see if it would be a good fit. I did not want to go alone for the first time. The people at Life Church were so welcoming and I could definitely see myself going back. I have one more church to try out here in town and am somewhat getting my foot in the door there tonight. My friend Alyssa is heavily involved there and some of the young adults are meeting up tonight at a local pizza restaurant. While I will not be partaking in the food I am gladly looking forward to partaking in the fun!
The girls have been gone for about 2 hours now and I am cleaned up from all the blankets, air mattress and crumbs. It is much quieter here in my little home. While straightened and cleaned I am now going to relax before my next adventure. Thanks to my sisters for visiting this weekend and sharing some wonderful memories to start my new adventure!
